Hi!  I´m Manuela Cornick Fernández,  but you can call me Manu. I am an actor, singer, dancer and visual artist from San José, Costa Rica.

I decided to become a stage artist early in my life: one night in 2009, when I was just 10 years old, I watched a live musical for the first time in my life.

 

Later that night, while being tucked into bed by my dad, I told him “I know what I want  to do for the rest of my life: to perform on the stage”.

​

Ever since then, I have taken dancing, singing and acting lessons wherever I can find them; my most recent place of study being Elon University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Acting in 2025.

​

While doing all this, I keep working as a visual artist and producing paintings, clothes, jewelry and household items such as mugs, coasters, and souvenirs. Find out more under the “extra credit” tab!
